What Spirit wants you to know during this New Moon.

1 ~ The Gatherer

Before we cultivated grains, we collected the wild bounty of nature. The Gatherer finds abundant seed, nuts, berries, and wild greens where the ordinary person sees only barren soil. The gatherer is the provider, the forager, and the gardener who collects roots and vegetables for the long winter when game is scarce. She does not hoard, trusting the bounty around her.

Look at the resources you already have close at hand. This is a time of abundance. Everything around you is ripe and ready for harvest. Banish the notions of scarcity that have limited your choices and colored your destiny. Pack your food for the winter, and start with low-hanging fruit that is all around you.

2 ~ The Rainmaker

The rainmaker is the master of manifestation, who can call on the elements of nature to serve the greater good. When the power to co-create is used with integrity, great beauty and benefit flow to all. When this power is used for personal gain only, everyone suffers. When the Earth is parched, the Rainmaker calls the waters from the heavens, and all that is dormant in the fields and in people’s heart spring to life again.

The Rainmaker is calling you to create something new from the elements that are already in your life. Be sure to work with what is, and not with what might be or could have been. The seeds that have been silently germinating in your heart will burst forth ready for the sunlight. Do not hold back; put all your chips on the next roll of the Divine dice!

3 ~ The Smokey Mirror

The Smokey Mirror represents the aspects of what is implied yet cannot be immediately known in the world, the mystery of how things come together and how they fall apart without obvious causality. This symbol also represents the shadow of the human psyche, the parts of the self that one disowns. The Smokey Mirror can also represent a state of denial, or the inability or refusal to see the truth.

When the symbol of the Smokey Mirror appears, you’re invited to see beyond your own self. Acknowledge that, past the limits of your current ability to perceive, there is a vast interconnected world where events are orchestrated in divine order but challenging to fully grasp. Now is the time to trust that no matter what the current conditions of your world reflect, in the Hidden Realms all aspects of the human journey are celebrated: the beauty and the darkness, the misery and the courage. No matter where you are on your journey, know that some things are meant to be a mystery, which you are meant to understand only through experience. Take heart, for the Smokey Mirror will ultimately show you beauty and wonder once the fog lifts the distortion you see now.

4 ~ The Rattle

The Rattle is the Spirit-caller, carrying the shaman’s prayer to the four directions. The body of the Rattle is like the Earth spinning in its axis. With the aid of the Rattle, the medicine woman instills a desired destiny in her future, closing with the prayer, “Great Spirit, May your will be done!” The Rattle guides us to pray for all the Earth, not just for our personal needs. When we offer our prayers for the highest good of all, everything we need is provided for us.

You want to catch God on the whisper, not on the shout. What you are trying to craft to your own desires and expectations is already there, standing before you. Do not spin the world to your own benefit. You are being offered the Creator’s tools, which must be put to use to serve a divine purpose.

5 ~ Many Paths

All paths lead to Spirit. What you bring to your journey is what will determine if yours is a path of suffering, a path of wisdom, a path of bliss, or a path of loss.

You have outgrown your current situation and risk losing your way in your own backyard. You are being called to step out of your comfort zone. Respond now, while the call is still a gentle whisper. Even though the woods look thick and impenetrable, venture in and let nature guide your steps through the dark until you reach your destination. Remember, if you do not know where you are going, any path will take you there.

6 ~ Standstill

When Standstill appears, it is a symbol of pausing, the act of observation, and breathing space. It represents the temporary nonaction as well as what happens when one is stuck.

When things seem to stall or when you feel stuck, this symbol appears as a reminder that constant action isn’t going to get you where you want to go. Perhaps it’s time to gather more information or just wait until the Universe makes the next move. No matter what, this moment is a beautiful gift orchestrated in your favor. Enjoy it. Let the Universe bring all the parts together for the highest good. Go and play, recharge, and take focus off whatever has stalled. Life will get busier again for you sooner than you think.

No one can hold us the way nature can. Mama nature is as powerful healer and transmuter of dense energies we may be holding on to. Just as she takes in our out breath and returns our bones to fertile soil, so too can she transform our woes of we can allow ourselves to surrender, to lie in her grassy arms or be embraced by her branches. Just as plastics and oils cannot be broken down in the Earth for renewal, when our emotions become harden and impenetrable , catalysed into something more destructive, they cannot be transformed into the compost that we grow from. Experiences we may categorize as good or bad are a part of life. Death and rebirth are a part of the natural cycle that that allows for the continuation of life. Creating something through suppression and control that will not break down, will only bring us further out of harmony.

Your fairy energies during this New Moon.

L ~ Lost and Found

What was once lost is about to be found, thanks to the Lost-and-Found Fairy. Sometimes she can help us find things we never even realized were lost!

The Lost-and-Found Fairy collects lost treasures and keeps them for a rainy day, revealing them when they’re needed most. She is attracted to shiny things and often keeps company with magpies and crow, for they too have a keen eye for things that sparkle – if you see these birds, this fairy is probably nearby.

If you’ve misplaced something , either materially or spiritually, call on this helpful fairy to find it. She will often leave little hints, tips and clues. She may remind you to be practical; for example, if you’ve lost your keys, retrace your last steps in your mind – where were you and when you saw them last?

This fairy often appears in autumn and wintertime. In autumn, animals often bury foods ready to sustain themselves during the colder months, and seeing them do this could be a sign to stash away the things that will sustain you, too, during this period. These could be material thins such as food and money — remember she is a very practical fairy! Or you might stash away cherish memories inside your heart and tap into them whenever you need a spiritual boost.

The Lost-and-Found Fairy also reminds us that it’s ok to lose things: perhaps you never really needed them anyway, or their time and purpose has been served.

M ~ Believe in Magic

Open your eyes and see the magic that’s all around in nature. The Fairy of the Northern Lights says you are part of nature, so you are magical too.

When the Fairy of the Northern Lights appears, she comes to tell you to open your eyes and see the magic that’s all around you. The aurora borealis is pure magic, and seeing the colorful ribbons of light dancing in the sky is on many’s wish list. Perhaps you, too, have felt drawn to see this phenomenon in real life. If so, this card is a confirmation that it’s time to start making those plans. Or maybe another far away location is calling you? When nature beckons you, your spirit knows the way to go.

The message may not be so literal, however. Instead, this magical fairy could be flying in to remind you to open your eyes and your heart to the magic and wonder of the natural world, so much of which we take for granted. The Fairy of the Northern Lights says, “When you’re taking a walk, stop: look up, look down and see the magic that’s all around!” Because sometimes we need a gentle reminder to stop and smell the roses, and revel in the magic of nature. Perhaps you’re being called to inspire someone else to see the world through new eyes of wonderment. Children see magic all around them; it’s natural to them. If you feel stuck in a rut, tune in to your inner child and learn to see the world through the eyes of a youngster once again.

F ~ Friendship

Fairies and humans alike need friends. Now is the time to seek out those who will support and encourage you on your journey to fulfill your dreams.

We all need someone we can trust, to share our private thoughts with. This card tells you to reach out to old and new friends, to gather your friends around you, for there’s power in numbers. Friends can offer advice that can give us hope and another point of view. Fairies, too, gather in groups to support each other and there’s great wisdom and comfort in doing this. Like-minded and like-hearted friends are like fairy dust shining in our darkest and lightest hours and are always there for each other, no matter what time of day or night it is. True friends celebrate our successes and our joy for they’re truly happy when we’re happy.

This card is also asking if you’re being a good friend – or have you neglected your friendships? Perhaps an old colleague or school friend needs you to reach out. Close your eyes and see who pops in your mind., then get on touch with them – perhaps give them a call or send an email, just to say hi and check they’re doing okay. Friendships can last a lifetime and should be treasured.

It could also be time to make new friends, so join a class to learn a new skill or go for a walk at a popular park or attraction. By getting out and exploring you’re much more likely to meet others with similar interests than if you stay at home.

B ~ Find Balance

Find the balance between your work, rest and playtime and you will have more energy, harmony and productivity in your life. Take a power nap.

Are you feeling bored – or are you in danger of becoming boring?be truthful with yourself when answering.

Even though fairies are known to be super hard workers, they also know how to rest and play. The fairies are flying in now to remind you to take a break and give your body and mind a well deserved rest. The problem with work is that once you’ve completed one task there’s always another one waiting – a bit like housework! But even though it may feel as though you need to rush to get everything done, taking some time out can actually give you more energy to complete the task at hand. Fairies be to snooze, and they’re telling you that 40 winks in the afternoon (also known as a power nap) could be beneficial for you. The strong message here is to get some rest.
