It’s ok to choose your happiness. For far too long you have out your happiness beneath and others above. No more. Your feelings matter. Your happiness matters. A cycle is coming to a completion in your life. Let go of what needs to be released and allow happiness to fill up your life.

The sweat lodge represents the womb of Mother Earth. Volcanic stones are heated in a fire outside, then brought into the lodge and placed in a shallow hole in the center. Participates sit in complete darkness around the red hot stones to sweat away old habits and beliefs, and heal disease. When you return humbly to the womb of Mother, you are offered second chances.
Life is offering you a second chance. Take it, since it may not come your way again for a while! Mother Earth is calling you into her womb and inviting you to incubate as long as needed for spiritual rebirth. 3 ~ Many Paths
All paths lead to Spirit. What you bring to your journey is what will determine if yours is a path of suffering, a path of wisdom, a path of bliss, or a path of loss.
You have outgrown your current situation and risk losing your way in your own backyard. You are being called to step out of your comfort zone. Respond now, while the call is still a gentle whisper. Even though the woods look thick and impenetrable, venture in and let nature guide your steps through the dark until you reach your destination. Remember, if you do not know where you are going, any path will take you there.
4 ~ The Seer
The Seer represents the capacity to reach beyond the obvious details of life, into the Hidden Realms where information is available to those with the discernment to perceive it. This symbol represents psychic perception, intuition, and the capacity to know something without prior exposure. The Seer knows truth, always seeks truth beyond all else, and sees reality as it truly is without judgement.
The Seer can read between the lines and understand what is not being said. He represents the power of clarity and being able to recognize patterns.
The Seer invites you to trust your intuition and follow it as it leads you forward. You may feel lost when it appears that your hunch is taking you in circles, or even through a maze, but the Hidden Realms don’t follow the rules of a two-dimensional map. Trust your gut, and allow your perception of your circumstances to widen to include the nuances and subtle cues that you normally miss if you take things at face value. The Seer has gifted you with his magic. You are exactly where you’re suppose to be. Your vision is clear.
5 ~ The Giveaway
The Giveaway is the gift you offer to life, without attachment, without expecting anything back. You can only give what is truly yours: a smile, a nod of encouragement, a gentle touch, a kind words. This is not giving to others what you no longer want, like the sweater that no longer fits, but gifting that which is most precious- your authentic love and genuine feelings.
Is it difficult for you to set limits on how much of yourself you give? If you giver more than is healthy, then you will not be able to give for long. You’ll feel resentful with your partner or associates, or you’ll feel like the world owes you something in return. Notice if you give for any reason other than pure generosity. Are you trying to be liked or accepted? Are you hoping to heal an old wound? Start giving to yourself first and foremost. Offer yourself the love, the time, and the acceptance that you are longing for. Once you experience plenty, then you can truly give to others.
6 ~ Rainbow
The Rainbow symbolizes the seven steps of a true spiritual path, which manifest as the colors of the seven chakras. In the Himalayas, the Rainbow body is seen as the full realization of our essence. The Rainbow also represents the bridge between the physical and the spiritual worlds. At the end of our lives, we am journey across the rainbow bridge to the highest heavens realms. When the rainbow appears it is an affirmation that all is well and that you are in the right relationship with Spirit.
Don’t get caught in the pursuit of the illusion of the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Find the treasure now, in the moment, by coming into right relationship with those around you. All your gifts are at hand, so obvious you may have missed them. Be true with your intentions, and do not be led astray by daydreams.
7 ~ Spirit Keeper Of The East
New beginnings. A fresh cycle is occurring in your life. Wipe the slate clean; it’s now time to release the old and start again. No matter what has happened in the past, it doesn’t need to repeat in the future.
In native traditions, the directions are honored. It’s believed that every direction has an associated spirit that can be called upon. In the great cycle of life, that east is the place of the rising Sun; It’s also associated with planting seeds in the spring time, birth, the waxing moon, and new beginnings. Pulling this card means that this is the close of one cycle and the beginning of another. Although it’s often difficult to release familiar routines, situations, or relationships when they no longer empower you, your native spirit asks that you’re not going to the old, but set sail into new waters. Face your fear and allow yourself to stretch in a new direction. Wonderful opportunities will be born in your life.
Stand and be still. Breathe and center yourself. Then slowly turn in a circle. Close your eyes and feel the energy of each direction. There’s a difference in the feeling in each direction. Stand facing east as the sun rises to sense the unique energy of that direction.
8~ Ancient Forest
Your roots go deep. Incredible, radiant, healing strength is available to you and it grows within you. Do not doubt your abilities. You’re so much more than you can possibly imagine. There’s immense, unseen- but very real- support around you. You are loved and cherished. You are grounded, stable, and strong as your spirit reaches high into the heavens.
Throughout the world, those in indigenous cultures revere what are called the “Tree People.” The powerful life force of trees can bring healing, strengthening, and grounding energies. The kind of tree might vary from culture to culture, but the reverence and gratitude for it’s beneficial energies are the same. The ancient forest is alive with nature spirits; additionally, each tree has an individual spirit especially powerful and resilient. The forest can survive the harshest conditions because of the mutual support of the spirit of the entire forest. Your greatest strength is silent and deep. It doesn’t need a show of force. It just is. Inner power is found through contemplation, reflection and meditation. Sometimes it comes from times of growth and change; other times it’s springs from surviving and conquering painful situations.
Adopt a tree. It can be one in your yard or in a nearby park or wilderness area. Talk to the tree. Touch its bark. Give thanks, and by doing so you create an energy connection that will continue to nurture you, no matter how far away you are from your adopted tree.
9 ~ Sweat Lodge
Cleanse yourself: body, mind, and soul. Purify l. Clutter-clear. Let go of objects and relationships that no longer serve you. Go within. Meditate. Talk to the Creator. Give thanks.
Sweat lodges are small dome structures covers with skins, blankets, or mud in which very hot stones are placed in the center. Water is poured over the stones so that hit steams arises from the rocks. Thus, the sweat lodge, with its hot steam, is used for purification ceremonies as well as a place to commune with the Divine. This card chose you to tell you that it’s time to clear out the clutter in your life. Sometimes clutter can be things in your closet that you don’t love or use. But sometimes clutter can be outmoded relationships or habits that no longer serve you. The clearer your inner and outer space becomes, the easier it will be to hear the sweet messages from your soul.
Sometimes this card chooses you when it’s time to do some physical detoxification. Fast for a day. Drink green juices. Clear out some clutter: Love it, use it, or get rid of it. Even one small item can make a difference.
10 ~ Medicine Woman/Medicine Man
Profound inner and outer healing is occurring. You’re a natural healer. You’re on the mend, and/or a situation is being resolved. Have faith that it’s happening. You are a sacred healer; you are a medicine woman/medicine man of the soul.
Every indigenous culture has a tradition of healers. Depending on the culture, they’re called medicine men, medicine women, shamans, tohungas, kahunas, sangomas, or curanderos, among others. In every tradition they’re the individuals who are able to step between worlds to gain information, wisdom, and healing energies from their spirit allies. When this card chooses you, you’re at the advent of healing emotional, physical, and metal wounds. Additionally, a powerful healing force is activating within you.
Nature is one of our greatest healers, so spend time with the trees, soak up the rays of the sun, and dance in the rain. Everything in nature has the intrinsic ability to restore itself. You’re a part of the natural world, so you have this innate ability. Often healing needs to occur on the inner planes before it can manifest on the outside. To assist this process, focus on what’s great and let go of what isn’t working. Hold a vision of the solution that you desire, be patient, and trust that recovery is occurring in its own time and way.
11 ~ Flowing River
Everything is falling into place because you aren’t revisiting the drift of the great river of life. It’s time to let go. You’re entering a period of gracious ease and flow. All is unfolding perfectly and with good timing. When you’re in a state of flow, you aren’t pushing the river to go faster, and you aren’t swimming against it. Let go of the shore and enjoy the ride.
Rivers have personalities and carry energy, just as animals and plants do. From the Maoris to the Australian Aborigines, and to other native cultures throughout the world, it’s believed that its important to listen to the language of the river. If you aren’t feeling the smooth currents of life, it might mean that you’re trying to control situations or that you’re being self-critical or judge-mental. The way to move into flow is through gratitude and appreciation, and by allowing others to support and help you. Heed the Native American saying, “It’s best to ride the horse the direction that it’s going.” This means that when the card Flowing River chooses you, you’re being told to let go and go with the flow. If there is something or someone you need to forgive, this is the time. This is also the time to forgive yourself and let go.
As you shower and the water flows over your body, imagine that everything is flowing in your life. Spend time next to a river or stream and watch the flowing waters; use it as a metaphor to let go and enter the flow.
12 ~ Forest ~ Breath~
Your breathing is too shallow. Although it may feel natural , it is an unhealthy habit that causes this shortness of breath. When you subconsciously shorten your breath, no matter if this is habitual or triggered by some event or circumstance, it activates certain physiological signals that prepare your system for “fight or flight.” Another conditioned response to perceived danger is to hold your breath. This is your survival response, although it does not serve you to do so.
So. . . breathe! Inhale deeply, regardless of your concerns, worries, or problems; then let it go. Next, allow yourself to breathe a little deeper and slower a few times. Remember that every breath you inhale is a gift, and every breath you exhale is a gift. The forest is a clear reminder of how this works.
13 ~ Stone People ~ Vigilance ~
Remain vigilant at this time, but not out of fear. “Vigilant” simply means opening up your mind and senses to information as it is presented to you: through your eyes , ears, physical sensations, and detached thoughts. It is especially true in two main areas. First, follow any guy feelings that may tell you to be wary about someone or something; second, pay close attention to an important opportunity that presents itself, one that may enhance your life and the lives of others. Maintain your vigilance of the clues around you and inside of you. Assess what is emanating from your body, and then sort out any conditioned responses from what is purely instinctual. Examine the situation with heart, intuition, and mind in harmony; for this is how vigilance serves you. Detach, take a breath, and stand tall in you stature.
14 ~ Rainbow ~ blessing ~
The Storm has passed, and it’s time to enjoy the refreshing beauty of this cycle, even though it has been difficult to appreciate any sense of purposefulness in what you have endured lately. You can now, as they say, count your blessings. Do not just look at the “brighter side” adhering to some academic mantra that has no heart or depth, but do so slowly and with genuine gratitude that is expressed up close and personal.
This ever-evolving process of Life itself is a blessing-an opportunity to exist as a human being in Earth. The planet is a beautiful garden, even if it doesn’t always appear to be so. Sometimes it is only when you look back at a memory of an experience that you can truly see the blessing that has come from them. Bless your difficult and painful experiences, and let them go.
15 ~ Wind ~ Activation ~
The lethargy you feel is the result of lack of activation— in other words, something that stirs your senses. This could be anything from walking outdoors, feeling the breeze on your body, or inhaling the different aromas that Nature herself provides. Or it could be finding the pleasure in a warm bath that helps you release the tension and stress from your mind and body. Music may activate your hearing, which sparks the pleasure centers in your brain. Art may activate your emotional responses. The touch of anymore human may activate a deep need to be physically held in some manner once again. Now so the time for action. Engage in some activity and be fully present so that you forget about your surroundings and enter into that timeless multidimensional experience of union with the focus of your creative attention. Let your physical body be active. Movement alone— whether quietly dancing by yourself or hiking up that hill over yonder— will require you to be as present as possible in your body.
