Full Moon/Mercury Retrograde Oracle Guidance

This spread is a special one for me. My birthday is the 13th this month and also within the Full Moon energy or on the Full Moon depending on your location. Mercury is also in retrograde until the 20th of November! This Spread is in regards to these powerful energies and how they can influence your life. The first two cards will represent what Spirit wants you to know right now and the last is an overall energy.

Take a moment and take a deep breath. Let your intuition guide you. Choose a card from each row.

1-6 is what Spirit wants you to know.

7-11 is another energy Spirit wants you to know.

12-15 is an overall energy.

Leave your chosen cards in the comments below. You may be drawn to more than one card for a row, that’s fine. Feel free to share this post and tag a friend who may need some guidance as well.

I will give the messages later.

If you feel like the messages I give resonate deeply with you and you want to pay it forward, I’m going to leave my PayPal link below. If you would like to donate any amount, even $5, this helps me to be able to continue to do this for you all. I appreciate you all.

1 ~ Rainbow

The Rainbow symbolizes the seven steps of a true spiritual path, which manifest as the colors of the seven chakras. In the Himalayas, the Rainbow body is seen as the full realization of our essence. The Rainbow also represents the bridge between the physical and the spiritual worlds. At the end of our lives, we am journey across the rainbow bridge to the highest heavens realms. When the rainbow appears it is an affirmation that all is well and that you are in the right relationship with Spirit.

Don’t get caught in the pursuit of the illusion of the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Find the treasure now, in the moment, by coming into right relationship with those around you. All your gifts are at hand, so obvious you may have missed them. Be true with your intentions, and do not be led astray by daydreams.

2 ~ The Curse

The Curse refers to the limiting stories of our ancestors, and the karma from former lifetimes that preordains the events of our lives. It is the source of negative patterns, and it can show up as a disease, a destructive force, or a blockage on our creative energy. The Curse holds us hostage to a false story that we confuse for reality. Recognizing the original wound that is playing out in our life can heal it.

It is time to recognize the source of your limitations. Did your grandparents live with a mindset of scarcity? Did you inherit genes for heart disease? Were you a slave or a master in a past life? This karmic legacy is ready and waiting to be seen, to be untangled, and to be released. Honor the players and their stories. Forgive everyone and everything. Craft a new life course for yourself.

3 ~ The Corn

Corn represents the mother of sustenance and tangible abundance. This symbol represents material prosperity in the world of form that provides stability and sustenance to many. There is more than enough.

Beware of shortcuts on your dreams or a fast track being offered to you now. Be especially mindful of feelings of entitlement or an expectation to get something for nothing. This is a time for gratitude, perseverance, and humility. Be prepared to work toward your goals, and plant the seeds of your intentions consciously and respectfully. Release any insecure thoughts of scarcity, feeling that there is not enough, or worry that someone else can take what is yours. Know that the universe will always provide, but you must be in a relationship with it in order to receive. You will reap what you sow. Take heart; even if you didn’t plant well and have conjured up the illusion of drought, there is always a new season to begin again.

4 ~ The Andean Cross

The Andean cross represents the cosmology of the shaman. It depicts the four cardinal directions, the upper and lower worlds, and the steps to reach these realms. The hole in the center is a gateway to inter dimensional travel, the proverbial eye of the needle we can all go through to experience higher states of awareness and wisdom and to break free of linear time.

The time has passed and the window of opportunity has closed. Now is not the moment to take that leap that you have been over-preparing for. It is best to wait until conditions in the heaven line up again to offer you a more propitious moment. Any bold action you take now will require tremendous effort on your part. Just as important as knowing when to act is knowing when to return to your inner stillness and wait for more favorable times.

5 ~ The Beloved

The Beloved is the recognition of Spirit in another, and moving toward Spirit through the other. It is when the Divine appears to us in the form of our child, our partner, our friend, and we experience being in love. As we grow, we start to recognize the Beloved in everyone, not co fusing their personality with their divine nature.

Be careful with romantic love, the kind of love you “fall” in and out of. Own all the projections you have placed upon the person you are dreaming of. Remember that they are only mirroring back your own deep longings rather than revealing their true selves. If you fail to notice this, be prepared to walk through the fire of strong emotions once again.

6 ~ The Serpent

The Serpent is the life force of Mother Earth. The coiled serpent of the Kundalini brings passion, healing and renewals. She offers us the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge in the Garden of Eden, and reminds us to shed the past the way she sheds her tired, old skin. Serpent comes to offer you the forbidden fruit that will set your passion and creativity free.

When you shed the past gracefully, life will not strip it away with great drama- indeed, that is something you want to avoid. Do not use your energies to seduce others, or allow yourself to be seduced, even by your own ideas.

7 ~ Grandfather Sky

This is time to reach for the sky! Expansive energy, vitality, health, healing, and passion— these qualities are expanding in your life. The sky’s the limit. You are a healer and a channel for the life force of the Universe. You’re ability to sense energy fields is increasing dramatically. Be prepared to soar to new heights.

When you receive the Grandfather Sky card, you’re entering into an expansive cycle. Do not hold back and repress what you feel; your body and spirit will become drained. If you strive to meet everyone’s expectations, but forget to honor your own needs, your energy field becomes dull. If you allow your emotions and needs the freedom to be spontaneously expressed, waves of incredible energy will expand inside of you. Running on your own resources, it’s easy to become drained; however, letting the Divine light of the Creator to flow through you easily replenishes your Soul.

To deepen your connection to Grandfather Sky and bring an expansive energy into your life, stand outdoors with your arms reaching up to the sky. One of the fastest ways to bring joy and bounty into your life is through gratitude. Allow thankfulness to surge through you up into the heavens.

8 ~ Thunder Drum

Stand up and be counted. Be assertive. Don’t be shy about sharing your gifts and letting the world know about your value. Declare with authority, “This is who I am, and this is what I stand for!” Make a stand for others less fortunate. Take risks. Walk in the rhythm to the beat of your own drum. This is not the time to step back or step aside.

Thought the world, indigenous people have called Spirit through drumming. Drumming was used to activate one’s fighting spirit before battle, as well as for joyous celebrations and sacred ceremonies. It was also used for healing rituals. In every case, the drumbeat was used to open spiritual realms. A thunder drum calls the Thunder Beings from the sky, and they arrive with passion and incredible vitality. Drawing this card means that it is time to step into your passion. Make a stand in life for what truly matters to you.

A powerful way to activate your life force is to drum on your chest lightly with closed fist. It’s especially powerful if you do a two-beat— similar to the sound of a beating heart— which is the most primordial sound for humans. This rhythm is grounding and activates your strength.

9 ~ Nature Spirits

Delight. Peaks of carefree abandon. Living wildly, magically, and free. Be open to the wonders of the universe flooding into your life. Innocence and delight are abounding. Happiness is on its way!

Almost every indigenous culture recounts stories of fairies, (often called “little people”) and nature spirits. Although some of the fairies act in protection of their wild lands and should be treated with care and respect, most often they bring blessings and delight to all in their realm. If this Nature Spirits card chooses you, then welcome to a wellspring of joy and magic. Beneath the surface, mystical interventions are occurring in your life. Relax. All is well.

Even taking a few moments of stillness in the natural world can help you attune to the world of the little people and nature spirits. If you see a small flash of light or a movement of a leaf on a windless day, these are often signs that the wee folk are near.

10 ~ Walking in Beauty

Radiant beauty surrounds you. You’re beautiful, inside and out. No matter what your age, your grace is growing. Being in balance. As you walk in beauty and feel gratitude for it, your life will be filled with immense splendor. Whenever you can, spend time in natural, wild spaces. As you see and hear and feel beauty around you, your own beauty will grow.

In Native American traditions, there’s the concept of walking in beauty. It’s called “hozho naasha” in the Navajo/Dineh tradition, and it means being in balance with a natural way of life. When we are in the “right relationship” with the natural world around us, we are walking in beauty. The more you sense and see beauty around you— in your environment, yourself, and your body— the more it will fill your life, in all forms. Never say anything about yourself or your body that’s negative. Don’t put down yourself or others. Instead, affirm beauty and take time to adorn your body and personal space. Walk in nature and inhale the beauty of every part of our wonderful planet. Cherish yourself and the luminescence within you, and you will glow.

Create outer harmony in your home environment, even in small ways— such as a vase of flowers, scented candle, or clean windows— and your inner grace and radiance will begin to shine even more brightly. Wherever you go, look for beauty in your surroundings, and as a result, the world will become more beautiful.

11 ~ Prayer Feather

Love in flowing to you and through you. No matter what an individual is saying or doing, love him or hear anyway. Gather your inner forces; silently and secretly love deeply and fully, with every ounce of your being, even if someone isn’t fulfilling your expectations. (It’s easy to love people when they’re acting wonderfully; the true challenge is to love them when they aren’t.)

Feathers in native cultures often represent a connection with the Creator. Birds often symbolize messengers between the two-legged (humans) and Spirit. This is your time to love and be loved. The love that you send out into the world comes back to you hundredfold. There are times when the small concerns of everyday life need to drop away and be replaced by the majesty of your being… this is that time. Prayer feathers are decorated feathers that can be used for many purposes. In some traditions, prayers are placed into the feather— you can hold it to your heart or between your hands as you focus on your prayer— and then tied into a bush so when the wind blows, it carries the prayers to the Creator. Another kind of prayer feather is a decorated feather or a decorated bundle of feathers that are used for smudging (sacred smoke) ceremonies. ( The smoke it to cleanse the space as well as carry your prayers upward.)

For a day, love each person you encounter. Imagine a golden ray of light from the center of your heart radiating to the center of the heart of that individual. Notice how great you feel by the end of the day.

12 ~ Dance ~ Celebration ~

The sacredness of any celebration is dependent on the quality of spirit that is present. The quality of spirit is greater to the degree that you are fully present, with minimal inhibitions about expressing your joy and happiness through physical movement. Focus on what you want to celebrate. Put on some music and dance, whether slow or fast. Sing a song while you do so. Make one up about what you have to celebrate. Spirit’s wish is for everyone to enjoy their time on Earth, and part of that wish is to celebrate your capacity to be joyous and express it through your body. Whether in private, or a large communal gathering, let music, song, and dance be a part of your sacred ceremony regardless of what you are celebrating. For truly, any celebration is sacred.

13 ~ Childhood ~ Innocence ~

Innocence is not simply the lack of guilt or shame but a quality in itself, one that you naturally possess when you come into this existence. There are challenges that you have faced throughout life that have further shaped your personality and character. You have also likely encountered moments following a disappointment or loss when you turned sour or cynical, and no doubt have had times when layers of anger or fear blocked the flow of your vitality, your life force. Yet in spite of all this, there is a core of innocence that you can reawaken by releasing any shame that has covered over the truth of who you are. Take any opportunity to heal this shame and let it go so you can revisit that star of purity. Doing so helps you see every moment with fresh eyes and removes the filters that inhibit your light and live from coming forth. You truly are a child of Great Spirit, so allow yourself to be that.

14 ~ Volcano ~Volatility

This is a particularly volatile time for you. Unexpected changes, sometimes quite sudden and frantic are occurring in ways that you have absolutely no control over. These occurrences may be so powerful as to shake up what you formerly thought of as the foundations of your security. They may even cause you to reassess the direction your life is taking, to question some of your relationships, or to reevaluae the work you have chosen. Although these events may rock your world, know that Spirit is the guiding force behind them. It is a matter of finding your trust that Life knows what it is doing in the midst of these storms of change. It also requires you to make adjustments quickly and to not cling to what was, but instead move forward and welcome with your arms wide open what is yet to come, all from a place of being present in this moment. You truly have nothing to fear.

15 ~ Eagle ~ Communion

Whenever you experience a heartfelt communion with some physical expression of Life- plant, animal, human or anything else- it is only then that you can truly feel how your life force is similar to the life force that is all around you. It is only a matter of differences in form. An essence is articulated into the psychical world in a multitude of ways that is the same in everything and everyone, although it manifests in various shapes and characteristics. This essence is spirit emanating from the core of all things. Communion with Nature is essential for you now. Take some time to do an open-eyed meditation with any nearby animal or plant.

Relax your body as much as possible, breathe consciously, and keep your attention on the life form you are communing with. After a few moments, you will notice a sense of the boundaries dissolving, a meddling of the “I” and “Thou.” You May even receive messages or impressions as you find yourself in the flow of unspoken communication.
