As we enter into October we enter a time of release and new beginnings. I asked Spirit to give us collective messages regarding these changes.
Take a moment and take a deep breath. Let your intuition guide you. Choose a card from each row.
1-6 is what Spirit wants you to know.
7-11 is the supporting energy for your first card.
12-15 is an overall energy.
Leave your chosen cards in the comments below. You may be drawn to more than one card for a row, that’s fine. Feel free to share this post and tag a friend who may need some guidance as well.
If you feel like the messages I give resonate deeply with you and you want to pay it forward, I’m going to leave my PayPal link below. If you would like to donate any amount, even $5, this helps me to be able to continue to do this for you all. I appreciate you all. ❤️
May your October be full of an abundance of blessings.

1 ~ Magic
This symbol represents the infinite intelligence of Great Spirit that makes up the fundamental fabric of the universe. We experience the evidence of this magic though synchronicities, or meaningful coincidence.
Have you forgotten that you live in a world that is infused in magic? Perhaps you’ve become cynical and think you have to crest your life all by yourself with no help from others. It’s time to remember your relationship to Source, for you are a part of the story of the world, a living spark of Spirit living in Earth for this short time as an emissary of light. If you look back over your life, you will find many instances in which your actions alone were not the cause “out of the blue” coincidences that led you to that new relationship, job, or other important moment on your journey. So how do you stay in this awareness? The answer is simple . If you can be as a little child and cultivate that wonderful curiosity, you will see that magic again and be amazed. Remember, magic is real and in everything.
2 ~ Wild Woman
When the Wild Woman dances into your reading, she reminds of you of the essence of authenticity and freedom. Divested of all social constraints and cultural conformity, the Wild Woman holds up a mirror to your essential self- the true essence of who you are and who you’re meant to become. She is a reminder of the bright light within each of us that’s gets dimmed by the restriction imposed upon us by the expectations of society. She reminds us that in order to be Full present in life, we must uncover that light and let it shine brightly, regardless of the perceived consequence.
Excess for your own sake is a sign of imbalance. This is a warning that you may be trapped in obsessive thinking or behavior, looking for a release in things that will never provide it. Let go, lest you become like the Hungry Ghosts of Chinese’s Buddhist lore that can never be fulfilled. True release comes from trusting the fluidity of life- trusting that just as a river needs it’s banks to flow through, so to do you need boundaries around your thinking and behavior. Now is the time to simplify, be mindful and connect to the light within.
3 ~ The Rainmaker
The rainmaker is the master of manifestation, who can call on the elements of nature to serve the greater good. When the power to co-create is used with integrity, great beauty and benefit flow to all. When this power is used for personal gain only, everyone suffers. When the Earth is parched, the Rainmaker calls the waters from the heavens, and all that is dormant in the fields and in people’s heart spring to life again.
The Rainmaker is calling you to create something new from the elements that are already in your life. Be sure to work with what is, and not with what might be or could have been. The seeds that have been silently germinating in your heart will burst forth ready for the sunlight. Do not hold back; put all your chips on the next roll of the Divine dice!
4 ~ Taming the Wind
Here the feather, a symbol that is used in clearing ceremonies, for smudging, reminds you of a scared commitment you make to you life. This is the symbol of consciously bringing the spiritual into the material, infusing the world with reverence and an acknowledgement of the higher planes of existence that influence and animate all life. The feather is a symbolic reminder of deliberately entering to a partnership with the Great Spirit to co-create for the highest good of all.
It’s time to clear your energy, be present, and become conscious of how you communicate. This is a good time to write in a journal and put your thoughts into a cohesive form. Perhaps you need to actually do a smudging ceremony in your home or office, creating a sacred space to write about your dreams and desires. Just remember that when Taming the Wind appears as a symbol, it is time to honor the Great Spirit with reverence and respect.
5 ~ Water
Water symbolizes purification, regeneration, birth, revival, and cleansing. It signifies a evolutionary shift from former self to new self. Many myths around the world speak of a “great flood” and the new life that is revealed after deluge. Water begins without boundaries. Then, as soon as form has separated itself from water, it comes under the laws of time and life, thus acquiring limitations.
This is a time of cleansing unwanted energy and sticky feelings. Now is also a time that is pregnant with potential for you. Carl Jung talked about the maternal, womb like significance of water as a universal symbol. Water represents the potentiality of existence. It precedes and sustains every creation. Emergence from it is manifestation; immersion in it is dissolution of form. Because if this, it symbolizes regeneration. Make way for the process. You can expect it to be messy but worth it.
6 ~ The Earthkeeper
Just as you’re involved in co-creating your world, you are also responsible for its well-being. The Earthkeepers are dedicated to the stewardship of the Earth and all life. They choose to hold the sacred dream of a planet where all beings live in peace and where rivers and the air are clean. Remember that everything you do has an impact for seven generations.
You have outgrown your small dream of success and achievement and are ready to dream big, with possibilities beyond your wildest expectations. Take on the mantle of the Earthkeeper, and reach out to a friend in need whom you may not have been in touch with for some time. Take care of your pets, and feed strays that come by. Clean up your yard, as this is a reflection of your relationship to the Earth. Grow sacred dream, and your personal life will flourish. Remember it’s not about “me” any longer.
7 ~ Pause
Take a moment to assess what is really going on at this time. You are holding on to control and not allowing many wonderful blessings to come into your life. Grant yourself an opportunity to get into the sunshine. You deserve to receive this new prospect. Resistance can create unnecessary blocks. Interference can be caused by multitude of energy’s including your own attitude, other people, the weather and so on. Create the opportunity to regroup and don’t feel the need to fight what is happening-it is a waste of energy. Find something else to do and wait until there is a better flow to finish the task at hand. The willingness to try something new is all that is needed to create something wonderful. Now would be a good time to start meditating if you don’t already.
8 ~ Be Gentle With Yourself
A time of new birth and energy is upon you. Draw on the lessons you have learned to assist you in moving forward. Notice how you have grown and changed as a result of everything that had transpired. Gather information as you go and be ready for new adventure. All signs are positive for successful outcomes at this time.
9 ~ Acceptance Of Love
This image is a representation of the harmony of opposites, masculine and feminine. You have the ability to give love freely to yourself and to others. It is important to understand that you are whole, complete and perfect now and will enhance the life of another. Love can happen. Love is the truth of all situations. Love the soul embodied inside you. Express more love in your life and allow yourself to feel loved. Everything happens exactly when it is supposed to. In that order, everything that happens is what is supposed to take place. You bring a bright light and individuality into this world.
10 ~ Renewal of Peace
It is important to maintain peace with all aspects of your life mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual. Inner imbalances can often manifests in your daily life if you don’t make time to take care of yourself. It doesn’t matter whether or not you’re imbalance is a negative one. Being optimistic to the point of believing yourself to be invincible can also lead to challenges. Balance is best achieved through listening to your body. Take time for yourself. Allow your inner power to heal and return to being peace-filled. This will assist you and make you stronger.
11 ~ Seek Beauty
This is the time to reflect on love and to seek out beauty. Create memories. Take time to enjoy your experiences, celebrations and special occasions. The recollection of happy moments will support you. Look not only in the world around you but also within. Seek out the loving qualities that you appreciate about yourself. Search for your own beauty. Look at yourself and the world around you for a new perspective.
12 ~ Autumn Equinox – Release
Now is the time to let anything in your life fall always that is no longer useful or needed for the emerging expression of who you are. Allow yourself to gradually shed what has become burdensome and no longer congruent with your soul’s purpose. Conserve your energy by allowing yourself more rest while at the same time making preparations for the winter season. Look especially at your material possessions and be brutally honest with yourself as you discern which of these can be given away or somehow released. Consider shedding relationships that have served their purpose and are no longer viable, as well as work or a job that has become devoid of interest and passion. With release comes a sense of being much lighter.l, just like the trees that openly bear their nakedness once their leaves have departed and give room for whatever new Life is ready to birth following a period of quiet and gestation. So let go of whatever has outlived its purposefulness and trust that something else will take its place.
13 ~ Fire ~ Passion ~
What are your passions? What turns you on? What ignited that inner flame, that creative spark? When you feel devoid of passion, consider what is missing in your life. It is most likely, an absence of “fire in your belly,” something that makes your heart beat faster and quickens your breathing. Passion is not something that comes from outside of you, although some events and circumstances can trigger it. It is an intensity of feeling, whether quietly experienced or enthusiastically expressed. Passion can simply be a strong feeling, or the sensation itself can be so powerful that it motivates you to act. This is too often associated exclusively with sexuality, which is certainly one way of experiencing it, yet it limits its meaning and demeans the broader possibilities. Open yourself to the truth of what you are passionate about, and find a means to express it.
14 ~ Cave ~ Sanctuary ~
There is a quiet, still place inside of you that will always be available as a sanctuary, yet finding such a place in the natural world will enhance and compliment this internal place of peace. Whether it is a cave, meadow, forest, seashore, or any other setting in Nature, this is where you can see, hear, and feel the presence of the Creator in your surroundings. Let it become a temple for your heart and soul. Rather than having your computer, television, or any other human made device or activity be your sanctuary, allow yourself to discover the perfect place in Nature where you can simply be and breathe. Doing so bridges the connection between the internal and external, facilitating a spiritual communion that allows your being to be aligned in dramatic and and quiet reverie with All That Is. in today’s busy world, it becomes even more critical to set aside time for sanctuary— even if you have to schedule it!
15 ~ Rainbow blessing
The Storm has passed, and it’s time to enjoy the refreshing beauty of this cycle, even though it has been difficult to appreciate any sense of purposefulness in what you have endured lately. You can now, as they say, count your blessings. Do not just look at the “brighter side” adhering to some academic mantra that has no heart or depth, but do so slowly and with genuine gratitude that is expressed up close and personal.
This ever-evolving process of Life itself is a blessing-an opportunity to exist as a human being in Earth. The planet is a beautiful garden, even if it doesn’t always appear to be so. Sometimes it is only when you look back at a memory of an experience that you can truly see the blessing that has come from them. Bless your difficult and painful experiences, and let them go.
